PWA Install:

 

• The iOS App Store and Google Play Store do not permit Tacswap as a native app due to their strict policies.  

• Legislative and public advocacy may eventually push Apple and Google to allow third-party app sideloading, reducing their control over app distribution.  

• In the meantime, Tacswap is available as a Progressive Web App (PWA), which offers many benefits similar to traditional apps, such as:  

  • Optimal User Experience

  • Push notifications  

  • Home screen access  

  • Notification badges (some features are still in development)  

 

 

 

How to Install Tacswap

 

iOS

1. Open Tacswap in Safari.  

2. Tap the “Share” button (square with an upward arrow).  

3. Scroll down and select “Add to Home Screen.”  

4. Tap “Add.” Tacswap will now appear on your home screen like a regular app. 

 

 

Android 

1. Open Tacswap in Chrome.  

2. Look for the “Install” prompt or tap the three-dot menu.  

3. Select “Add to Home Screen.”  

4. Follow the instructions to complete the installation. Tacswap will now function like a native app.
