Creating a Listing

Once you have created an account you may create as many listings as you like. Our listing content is very simple and fast to make it easier for both the user and audience to view and find items.

 

On the main Tacswap page touch or navigate to the header icon with the “+” symbol. Click this icon and begin entering product information including listing title, description, images, price, etc. Once you have all of the information in the listing form completed click “Create Listing”. The item will appear immediately in the feed, on your Profile Page and in your Active Listings.

 

 

Types of Products to Post

While we do not completely regulate the listing content - we do monitor the types of listings on a regular basis. We believe that the value of the Tacswap community exists and continues to grow because of the flexibility and freedoms we allow. However, we do ask that posts remain relevant to 2nd Amendment related products, gear and the like thereof. 

 

Any items that do not directly align to one of Tacswap's provided categories should be categorized as Miscellaneous, which will only be viewed by users explicitly searching for items categorized as Miscellaneous. If a post is incorrectly categorized, it may be taken down at the listers expense. 

 

 

Managing Listings

Once a post is live, users have the option to manually bump their listings back to the top of the feed from Manage Listings. PRO users have the ability to set schedules for listings to bump automatically through the Auto Bump feature.

 

Tacswap will automatically end any listing that has not been edited or bumped in 90 days. You can re-activate any ended listing from your "manage listings" page. Credits will be used to re-activate ended listings.

 

Once you archive a listing it can not be re-activated. It can only be permanently deleted from your archive/page once archived.

 

 

Auto Bumps and Auto Credits (PRO)

Auto Bumps

 

Auto Bumping is a feature released at the start of 2025 for PRO Tier accounts. This feature allows PRO users to schedule listings for Auto Bumps - which are prescheduled bumps. Auto Bumps are managed and created for each individual listing. You are able to select which days of the week you would like to have bumps automatically take place.

 

There is no way to adjust which times Auto Bumps will take place. If left unmanaged, Auto Bump scheduling for a listing will automatically conclude 30 days after Auto Bumps were initially scheduled.

 

 

Auto Credits

 

Auto Crediting is a feature for PRO accounts that enables an auto-recharge of credits once that account depletes its current credit balance. This can be managed and set up in Account Settings. This feature is mandatory for the enabling of Auto Bumps to prevent interruptions and conflict with Auto Bump scheduling.

 

 

Quotas

Basic Users of Tacswap receive 10 free listings during a 30 day period, while PRO users have 25. To monitor which listings have been allocated to your rolling quota you can view this under you manage listings page and click Free Quota on the bottom navigation bar.
